    Thanks for the info Indie.

  2. fearxlink says:

I really don’t feel like casting smite throughout an encounter but I know it improves my healing/gives me mana back with archangel! I would just rather heal! Ah the choices, I really can’t decide!

  3. Grievousig101 says:

@Fred334a She is Smite Healing, there’s a talent in the disc tree called Atonment that allows you to heal raid members for the amoung dealed by smite/holy fire.

  4. TheStormie456 says:

    what about non AA/A…?

  5. acdcfreakouter says:

    @indiegarona np? :P

  6. indiegarona says:

@acdcfreakouter You know what, we do usually one shot Heroic Morchok. Maybe I will log the next one with higher mastery and much less crit to more properly compare. Thanks for the suggestion!

  7. indiegarona says:

@SnowieeTV This is why I shouldn’t LFR, I am always looking for an unsuspecting ice wave victim!

  8. indiegarona says:

@Blackhammer9999 Hey, thanks for this input. I enjoy getting intelligent responses more than you know! I understand LFR is not ideal testing grounds, nor were two different encounters. This was just to support my feeling that more DA shields could be better than more potent PW:S’s, and it certainly doesn’t mean that my way is the only way. I must lastly admit I hate math and am lousy at it, so I will never venture to spreadsheet things or min/max (though I have much respect for those that can)!

  9. acdcfreakouter says:

@indiegarona Oh no, i completely understand ^^ but maybe throw together a raid once your no longer progressing? Say when you guys can like down the first boss 1 shot every time ie

  10. indiegarona says:

@bKLegaCey While this isn’t the most educated response, if you listened to the narrative I state that I understand LFR was not the ultimate testing ground, and the only thing I was testing was really Divine Aegis shielding, which regardless of HPS comparison simply occurs nearly twice as much when I use a Haste>Crit>Mastery build.

  11. indiegarona says:

@Silmarieni ReforgeSaver, as noted in the video, is the addon I use to save reforge profiles. It is very handy as all you need to do is select the saved reforge profile when you need it, and it automatically takes care of the rest!

  12. indiegarona says:

@fred334a As an atonement spec disc priest, I am both! But in a real raid outside LFR the dps is much less, as I have much less time to smite spam.

  13. indiegarona says:

@acdcfreakouter Yes I agree, and I state in the video LFR is in no way an awesome gauge for testing, but I just don’t feel like making guinea pigs out of my guildies in a progression raid, lol. =)

  14. indiegarona says:

@Mg95a With the atonement build, when you smite heal a nearby friendly target for 100% of the smite damage dealt. I should note that in a real raid encounter it won’t be like LFR where the inc overall raid damage is pretty low. So, yes I am healing the people who are attacking as well. =)

  15. indiegarona says:

@beating0slowly Thank you! I do always read comments and love to take some time to sit and reply to them. =)

  16. indiegarona says:

@MrWow1wow Thanks for the input! However, it should be noted that on Heroic Hagara atonement heals will go through and heal ice tombed targets!

  17. indiegarona says:

@Vampretta666 Thanks for the comment! I will go further into the stat weight debate by testing them outside a smite spec just to see. I personally feel I would never put mastery above haste, and at best and depending on the situation might only ever put it slightly above crit. Mastery is much tastier to holy priests because echo of light is a HOT that results from every direct heal. Mastery for disc to me isn’t as desirable because it depends on PWS usage and DA (which is crit dependant).

  18. indiegarona says:

@LmfaoWintoPwn I do indeed read them all and I agree that the comment was very well thought out!

  19. indiegarona says:

    @SilentStryker25 I do a little bit of both =)

  20. SilentStryker25 says:

Stop playing WoW and stay in the kitchen!

  21. nacochan says:

Nice video :D ! I have a disc priest (alt toon) as well and she’s mainly haste/crit reforged. And have never had a problem with healing that way and often find my heals are pretty high with it. Even did a raid the other day (BH) and had a shaman whisper me after the raid and tell me what an amazing healer I was because he didn’t really have to heal so nothing of his was proccing haha.

Will check out your guide though :) Always looking for additional tips when it comes to disc healing !

  22. xFmJSiiCkShOtx says:

I dont even do PvE or play a priest, But your voice is amazing.

  23. fifolon says:

CONGRATS Indie on the 1 year anniversary!

  24. LmfaoWintoPwn says:

@Vampretta666 I have no idea what disc does but your comment was well thought out and well written with good back-up. Hope she reads it. :D

  25. Vampretta666 says:

If you smite heal. Yes, you need to favor haste/crit over mastery. but if you haven’t specced into Archangel like I do then Mastery is your main stat. I try do get my haste so it cuts down atleast 2.2 sec cast on PoH & Greater Heal.

For most of DS fights there is time to smite heal and get your stacks up to use for the intense healing.
I smite heal alot on Yor’sahj Heroic and Ultraxion HC because of the enrage timer. I am MS holy and its the same thing. Love your Channel indie :) keep it up :D
